Microarrayed human bone marrow organoids for modeling blood stem cell dynamics
Another application of SUN Bioscience’s hydrogel microcavity arrays was published this week! Sonja Giger, Ph.D. used their Gri3D to generate bone marrow organoids from mesenchymal stem cells and endothelial cells. The system was used to assess the homing capacity of hematopoietic stem / progenitor cells. This well-accessible and scalable preclinical model has great potential for candidate drug screening and patient-specific assays. (read)
