Marie Tai

Marie honed her investment acumen at Hitachi Ventures for over three years, contributing to the success of startups like Sophia Genetics, which went public in 2021, Huma, Scipher Medicine, ArsenalBio, and SpaceOS. Before her tenure at Hitachi Ventures, Marie served as an Investment Professional at Goldman Sachs and BMW i Ventures, and early career roles at Bain & Company and Bosch Automotive in China.

Marie conducted research in Fluid Dynamics as a Visiting Research Scientist at Stanford University, followed by research in Catalysis at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from ETH Zürich, where she focused on research in Catalysis, Fluid dynamics, and Toxicology. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Technical University of Munich, where she completed her thesis in Catalysis.
